UW-Stout graduate to focus on developing short- and long-term plans to address workforce needs
Online PR News – 09-November-2017 – Stoughton, WI – STI Holdings, Inc. and Stoughton Trailers, LLC, recently named John Walsh to the position of Senior Vice President – Human Resources.
Walsh, who replaces Kate Schieldt, will oversee all facets of human resources for all STI Holdings businesses, which include Stoughton Trailers, Stoughton Parts Sales, Stoughton Rental & Lease, and Stoughton Finance.
Initially, Walsh will focus on developing short- and long-term plans to address workforce needs, reduce staff turnover, and improve employee engagement and interaction, said Stoughton Trailers CFO Tony Cords.
A UW-Stout graduate, Walsh has more than 25 years of human resources experience, and has worked in several executive management positions. Most recently, he was Human Resources Director at Signicast Investment Casting in Milwaukee for five years. Previously, he was principal owner at Human Resource Consulting in Madison; served as Global Director of Human Resources for Cummins, Inc., in Stoughton; and was the Human Resource and Associate Relations Director for Schneider National in Green Bay.
