Complementary site showcases tools of the comic book trade

Online PR News – 04-November-2017 – Toronto, Ontario – Today True North Country Comics is officially announced with the goal of promoting Canadian comic book creators and promoters. The new site, supported by a myriad of social media, provides a calendar of events, candid interviews, entertaining podcasts and much more to celebrate Canadian comic books and the talented creators that make them.

True North Country Comics is unveiled in 2017 timed with Canada’s 150 celebration. Since the initial vision of the nation that came to be in 1867, Canada has developed into a country built upon a rich varied background matched with a diverse infrastructure that today inspires creators to reflect on the past while looking boldly to the future.

“Canada is undergoing an invigorating comic book renaissance right now -- from stories about adventure to mystery to romance to war and everything in between -- there’s an abundance of creative talent flowing from this country,” said John Swinimer, editor and publisher, True North Country Comics. “This is a very exciting time for comic book readers. So True North Country Comics is proud to showcase the wide variety of creators across Canada -- from upcoming-and-coming independents to those working on globally recognized comic books. Producing this website is our small way of acknowledging the comic book creators and supporters across this great country.”

Additionally, a complementary site goes behind the scenes to showcase the tools that Canadian comic book creators use to do their amazing work. TNCC Tools of the Trade features insightful interviews with creators, the makers of the leading hardware and software, plus new information about digital tools for comic book readers.
