As a leader in SaaS-based platforms, Tellus’ technology was selected by Florida to address the challenges of delivering home care services for Fee-for-Service.
Online PR News – 02-November-2017 – Deerfield Beach, FL – Tellus LLC is proud to present at the Florida Association of Health Plans the Florida launch of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). As a leader in SaaS-based platforms within the health care industry, Tellus’ technology was selected by the State of Florida to address the challenges of tracking and monitoring personal home care services for Fee-for-Service.
The 21st Century CURES Act was passed into law December 2016 to address a number of issues, including the mandate for EVV (Electronic Visit Verification). The CURES Act incorporates many elements to assist in moving healthcare forward including the addition of technology requirements that can help to close loopholes, confirming treatment delivered and offer validation in the form of audit trails. The CURES Act is a Federal program, and each state is making their own decisions on implementation.
“Tellus is proud to call Florida home. Our easy to use EVV technology is making adoption by the MCOs and home health agencies simple, quick, and painless,” said Brad Levine, CEO of Tellus LLC. “Tellus EVV is fully compliant with the 21st Century CURES Act.”
“The Florida Association of Health Plans is excited to have Tellus as a sponsor of our 2017 Annual Conference and learn more about ways their technology solutions are advancing health care in the State of Florida,” said Audrey Brown, president and CEO of FAHP. “As technology continues to play an integral role in the health care marketplace, we look forward to partnering with Tellus to improve the overall efficiency and quality of health care in the Sunshine State.”
Tellus is excited to present and work with the FAHP and their Health Insurance members. EVV has already demonstrated the stability of the technology itself along with improved efficiency levels to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
