Online PR News – 29-October-2009 – – The U9-14s Gulliver's Rugby Festival has the qualifying rounds in Nottingham from 2nd to 4th April 2010 giving your team the chance to step out onto the hallowed turf of Twickenham on 29th May 2010. Even if your team does not make it Gulliver's are giving complimentary tickets to all participants for the final at Twickers.
Gullivers' Nottingham Rugby Festival http://www.gulliverstravel.co.uk/countries/united-kingdom/nottingham-mini-junior-rugby-festival?cide=CWA_PR finals were played before the Guinness Premiership Final between Leicester Tigers and London Irish, with Leicester winning 10-9. The Ashby U9 and U10s both reached Gulliver’s Twickenham Finals in 2009 and played before their team Leicester Tigers. It was a dream come true to play on the hallowed turf before Guinness Premiership champions, Leicester Tigers.
The last Premiership Final which was between Leicester and London Irish in 2009 recorded an attendance of over 81,000 people. It is always a fantastic occasion for club supporters to enjoy Twickenham and you and your team could be part of it!
Qualification for the Gulliver’s Twickenham Finals Day http://www.gulliverstravel.co.uk/countries/united-kingdom/nottingham-mini-junior-rugby-festival?cid=CWA_PR means your team steps out at Twickenham as part of a curtain raiser for the Guinness Premiership Final. Even if you don’t qualify, all participants at Nottingham receive two complimentary tickets for the Finals Day, so you can plan your trip early regardless of qualification.
Judging by 2009, which was another hugely successful finals day for Gulliver’s at England Rugby's HQ, 2010 promises great things. Whilst the day acted as a curtain raiser for the Guinness Premiership Final later that afternoon, there were quite a number of the Gulliver’s contingent in the south stand suggested that there was more rugby on display in our mini and junior games than that served up in the Leicester v London Irish main event.
For 2010 there are both non-residential and residential packages available. The non-residential are £79 per person and the residential which includes 2 nights single room accommodation at Nottingham University on a full board basis, including packed lunch on match days. It includes evening activities/entertainment with return coach transportation.
