Gravitas Ventures will release the independent comedy, "Drinksgiving" On-Demand, November 14th 2017 in North America.

Online PR News – 25-October-2017 – ALTON, ILLINOIS – Gravitas Ventures, the renowned independent film distributor, will release the holiday comedy, “Drinksgiving” starring Pamela Mitchell (“Psycho In-Law”, “Shameless”), and Jacob A. Ware (“Boardwalk Empire”), On-Demand, on November 14th, 2017.

The film, produced by F-Bomb Productions, LLC., follows the exploits of female post-grad, Sarah (Mitchell), who, along with her best friend Jake (Ware), attempt to throw a ‘grown-up’ get-together on one of the largest party nights of the year, the night before Thanksgiving. Over the course of the evening, Sarah finds out that growing up is not the same for everyone.

“Drinksgiving” marks the feature-film directing debut of Matt Olmon and Bart Elfrink. The film was co-written and produced by F-Bomb Productions, LLC., Lainee Frizzo and John Forrest. As directors Olmon and Elfrink, explained, “For a lot of people where we grew up in the Midwest, there’s this sort of purgatory between childhood and adulthood. Old enough to drink and get a job and be out of the house. Not yet at the age where accountability and tradition fall squarely on your shoulders. That’s where ‘Drinksgiving lies. A night where alcohol and friendships are of the utmost importance, while the preparations for the holiday can still be pawned off on Mom.” Lainee Frizzo provided the $35,000 budget and, together, with a cast that includes talent Juan Antonio (“Empire”, “Chance”), Keylor Leigh (“The Muppet Show”, “MonaGAYmous”), Kari Lee Wasoba (“Sex Sent me to the ER”, “Natural Causes”), and Zack Gold (“The Last Buck Hunt”, “Gridlocked”), worked to make a party film that is told from a woman’s point of view. “We’ve seen movies with girls going on trips and partying together, but we wanted to show a female party host trying her best to put on this event, however slapdash it is, and bring people together… and what a hassle it can be,” says co-writer and producer, Lainee Frizzo.

“Drinksgiving” will be available on Amazon, YouTube Movies, Vudu, I-Tunes, and various other SVOD sites as well as a variety of On-Demand systems such as Comcast, Direct TV, and Dish, amongst others.
