Online PR News – 30-August-2017 – Mitchell, South Dakota – Campus Consortium, the largest global education association of schools, colleges and universities awards $20,000 Grant to Dakota Wesleyan University for the BlueLight Emergency Mobile App.
"This Grant will help fund a mobile app for the safety of our students and faculty. With the near universal adoption of smartphones, it's important that this safety feature be available on these devices, so that, with the tap of a button, students can alert police, medical services, friends and family of an emergency. We are very pleased to receive a Grant from Campus Consortium." Dr. Roidt, Provost at Dakota Wesleyan University.

Designated guardians can be alerted to the location of an emergency.
Users are able to discreetly alert authorities.Provides contact for local emergency resources (ER, police station, fire department) and their locations.
