Revolutionary Triangle-based Startup Wins Free Business Trip Across the Pond to Network, Oversee Development of London Operations
Online PR News – 05-January-2011 – – Raleigh, NC: For startups – even those with massive potential – developing and maintaining operations on a multinational front can often be a difficult proposition, even with recent developments in remote management technology. British Airways, a major UK airline, has recently created a campaign to award the most deserving small businesses with the opportunity to enhance global operations by providing them with free international business travel.
Roving Coach International, a unique Triangle-based startup that works within organizations to make career development coaching a benefit for employees, has won a free business trip to London through British Airways’ “Face of Opportunity” Contest. The trip, awarded to those companies with the most potential and need for networking and expanding business on a global scale, will allow CJ Scarlet, Roving Coach’s Chief Rover, to oversee the early stages of development at their London base of operations.
In February, Scarlet will fly free with other “Face of Opportunity” winners from New York to London and back. During her six-day stay in the UK, she will attend exclusive networking events and industry panels courtesy of British Airways, and will meet with Roving Coach’s newly hired Director of UK Operations, Beth Pisculli. The trip will allow Scarlet, who will later be joined by fellow Roving Coach partners Stephanie McDilda and Nicoa Dunne, the opportunity to view Roving Coach’s London office in person, as well as meet and interview some of the many hopeful UK coaches attempting to join the Roving Coach team.
“Winning the ‘Face of Opportunity ’ Contest is the perfect way for Roving Coach to kick start our international operations,” said Scarlet. “We’re just a puppy now, but we are on the cusp of being a multi-national, multi-million dollar corporation. We are in the process of signing clients who will take us global overnight, and our London office will be our base of operations in Europe. Being able to network and oversee our early growth in that market is essential to our national expansion.”
