Valeriano Gamghebeli, the opera singer considered to have one of the most wonderful, sublime voices of today, welcomed in the New Year of 2011 at Da Bruno Marbella Restaurants.
Online PR News – 04-January-2011 – – Marbella, Malaga ( ) January 03, 2011 – A wonderful night was had by the Da Bruno Marbella restaurants ( http://www.dabruno.com/index.php ) guests, who were delighted by a creative, sumptuous menu to ring in the New Year, while being entertained by such a great singer as Valeriano Gamghebeli. It would be hard to have a more positive and fun start to a New Year.
The New Year’s Eve celebrations at Da Druno Marbella Restaurants started off with welcome Spanish champagne cocktails, made of Cava Juve Camps Gran Reserva. Appetisers of light, fluffy puff pastry of foie, goat’s cheese and carmelized apples were then served.
Starters included choices such as delicious scallops au gratin with basil bread and aromatic risotto, as well as capuchino of poularde with sautéed mushrooms and ravioli truffles. In between the starters and main courses an absolutely amazing rum, peppermint and lime sorbet was served.
The main course, which melted in the mouth, was an ox fillet tournedo with fruits, in a wine and cognac sauce. A delectable dessert of chocolate coulant with coffee sauce and nougat ice cream followed, as well as various Christmas cakes and sweets.
Throughout the night the atmosphere was fantastic, with excellent wines flowing, impeccable friendly service and wonderful entertainment.
As part of the Spanish New Year’s eve tradition, each customer was given 12 grapes to eat on the rings of the bell at midnight. The aim is to make a wish for each grape as you eat it as the bell rings. This is quite a challenge for those who are not used to it, but it is a fun and lovely tradition.
