Designed to be an extension of the Toyota sales team, the new application allows users to take their Toyota shopping experience with them wherever they go.
The Toyota Mobile Shopping Tool, designed by Toyota, Kony Solutions and Saatchi & Saatchi LA, will help Toyota reach beyond their websites to reach even more customers. The new app is available for Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android and Research in Motion’s BlackBerry devices.

The new Toyota Mobile Shopping tool allows users to experience an on-the-go shopping experience with a mobile catalog of 16 Toyota vehicles. Each vehicle can be spun and rotated to allow users to view all its features. Users can also locate their closest Performance Toyota dealer to find a vehicle and request a quote.
Toyota’s new application also includes their mLot feature. With this feature, users can scan Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) on new Toyotas, allowing them to capture key vehicle information. From there, they can save the vehicle as a favorite on their phone, compare it against other Toyota models or other comparable makes on the market and share their favorites on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Together with Performance Auto’s mobile sites, the Toyota Mobile Shopping Tool will give Performance Toyota customers an excellent shopping experience at and away from the dealership.
