Texas home, Los Angeles grown Decaro Films acquires the film rights to Pensacola author Bob Cook’s debut novel.

Online PR News – 27-December-2010 – – Decaro Films, a film and television development and financing company has optioned the film rights to Pensacola author Bob Cook’s debut novel “A Different Kind of KILLER.” Mary Decaro and Brian Decaro will produce and are raising independent funds for future development. Brian Decaro will adapt the novel to screen. Decaro Films & Partners are currently out to directors.

“Joe was being stalked by a different kind of killer, but with the help of lifelong friends he formulated a plan to end the threat. At the poker table, Joe dropped a bomb right in the middle of the cards and chips, which would prove to test him and his buddies beyond their imagination. Their plans would take them into Gulf Coast casinos, cross the open waters of the Escambia Bay, into the swamps of Louisiana, and on through rugged western country, to meet the monster head on. But as they struggled together, they came up with a different sort of solution”.
