The 2011 charity cycle ride in aid of Mag the Mines Advisory Group, will cycle 470km through beautiful scenery, past friendly and inquisitive locals, take in ancient temples and allow participants access to a way of life far away from our normal day to day lives
Online PR News – 24-December-2010 – – This is a good opportunity to get into a sweat for charity and take in some of the most extraordinary scenery in South East Asia.
During the trip participants will meet members of the MAG team working in Cambodia who have dedicated their lives to removing landmines. MAG is a totally neutral humanitarian organisation, which works to clear away the remnants of war in order that communities can benefit worldwide.
Participants are responsible for raising £3,000 in sponsorship and ill receive full support in planning for the trip, including training advice to ensure everyone is ‘match fit ‘ for the ride, although most healthy fit adults will be able to cope without too much trouble. Accommodation along the way will be basic and the weather hot and humid, but the experience will be magical and past participants have commented on how motivated they were to keep going after meeting so many friendly and inspiring faces along the way.
There are many cheap Ho Chi Minh hotels where riders to rest up and prepare for their trip. The city is a diverse and buzzing hot bed of action so participants will confident of an exciting point to begin the ride of a lifetime.
