Ngozi I. Moneke has an embedded history in nursing practice, performance improvement, research, and academia. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Phoenix, Arizona, and then earned her Master of Science degree - Adult Nurse Practitioner at Stony Brook University, New York. She received her doctorate degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. Her passion for helping people, most notably, the critically ill patients flows through in the excellent care she provided for her patients and their families. She is a staunch patient advocate - supports and promotes patients’ rights, by ensuring that their needs were met, appropriately. In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Ngozi worked as a Quality Assurance Coordinator – a crucial role responsible for ensuring that processes are followed and performed the right way for a successful outcome. Her research interest focused on nursing leadership and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on her work. She is a member of several professional nursing organizations and holds several nursing board certifications, including from American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
