With so many local residents still having a difficult time making ends meet due to the high employment rate and a tumultuous economy, the law offices of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC (LLL&S) is partnering with WPBF-25 and Estrella TV on the stations’ third annual “Holiday Food Drive With 25” that launches Monday, November 29, 2010 to make a difference in many of their lives. In addition to helping to raise awareness of the community need and food drive initiative among clients, colleagues in the legal community, and the community-at-large, the Firm has designated its three offices in Palm Beach and Martin counties as food drop-off locations through Sunday, December 19th.

According to station management, ideal food donations are non-perishables, including canned goods (such as soups, beans, vegetables, etc.), and unopened boxes of pasta, cereal, beans, cake mix, mashed potatoes, etc.

“The annual Holiday Food Drive is an extremely important event for WPBF-TV and we are proud to partner this year with Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith. The Firm has a lengthy history of active outreach within our community and their support in heightening awareness for this vital need is just another example of their commitment to helping the less fortunate,” said Caroline Taplett, President/General Manager, WPBF 25.

To promote awareness of the food collection initiative, WPBF-25 and Estrella TV will be running on-air spots in English and Spanish featuring LLL&S Managing Partner Gary Lesser and online information on wpbf.com telling viewers and visitors how and where to donate.
