The author is available to appear and perform on the stages of local and national venues, as well as the intimate settings such as houses of faith, café houses, and private clubs.

For decades, Davis, Jr. has received well-deserved praise when sharing his talent. With a high dose of originality, he uses an artistic delivery of written and spoken sultry words to caress, encourage, and lift America's black women, and other women of color.

His unique delivery and perspective ensures an informational, educational and entertaining presentation

To date, the author and poet has penned four books. The titles are: "Her—She Woman," The Emosewa Woman (two editions)", and "Love Is The Beautiful Black Woman." Davis, Jr. says all are deeply moving and honorable dedications to women of color.

"Vernon is a prose and poetry composition genius," stated Fran Briggs, publicist to the author. "He has sustained his passion for purposeful, poetry and prose since the mid-seventies. That passion has been inventively incorporated into his books."

The poet has taught Creative Writing and recited his poetry in talent shows, churches, and open-mike forums. He says he is inspired by the work of Langston Hughes, Nikki Giovanni, and Maya Angelou.

It's difficult to read or hear Vernon's work and not be moved," added Briggs. "Readers are thrilled by his books. And, the author is just as thrilled to share them with an exciting and monumental month."
