PR Couture Celebrates 10 Years in Business by Launching Three New Offerings

Leading sourcebook for fashion and lifestyle communicators expands portfolio with first-ever award program, podcast and freelance practitioner course

Online PR News – 11-January-2017 – SAN DIEGO – PR Couture, the leading sourcebook for fashion and lifestyle communicators, will celebrate 10 years of delivering industry news, professional enrichment courses and quality career-based content to its global audience, beginning this month. January marks a pivotal period of growth, beginning with the incorporation of three new offerings The Bespoke Communication Awards, followed by the Resting Pitch Face podcast and a new business development course, Presence, geared toward freelance PR practitioners.

The Bespoke Communication Awards (the BCAs) will kick off the new offerings planned for 2017 serving as a natural extension to the career profiles and campaign spotlights PR Couture is known for. The BCAs is the first-ever global online award program to recognize and celebrate 30 different innovative campaigns and contributions made by agencies, individuals and brands within fashion and lifestyle communications. Call for entries opens in February and interested particpants and sponsors can visit for more information. Winners are to be announced during a celebratory ceremony online at the end of April.

“Over the last 10 years, we have established a platform where practitioners of all levels share trade tips, experiences and perspectives in a non-competitive environment that has historically been rare in our industry,” said Crosby Noricks, Founder and Director of PR Couture. “I am beyond proud that my original vision to provide a vertical-specific resource for PR and marketing professionals specializing in fashion and lifestyle continues to flourish. In our next decade we aim to more comprehensively meet the evolving needs of communicators in a wildly fast-paced industry.”

Since publishing its inaugural blog post in December 2006, PR Couture has received ongoing top-tier recognition and accolades as both a leading and beloved resource from communication professionals, educators, trade events, industry conferences, academic texts and coverage in more than 100 publications including Cision, Meltwater, Forbes, and Fast Company.

To date, PR Couture has published more than 1,000 articles; interviewed more than 250 communication professionals and media members; sold thousands of copies of “Ready To Launch: The PR Couture Guide to Breaking into Fashion PR,” a book written by Noricks in 2012; executed 10 Fashion PR Confidential Workshops in partnership with Danika Daly; and coached more than 120 young professionals through PRISM, a career and PR skills course launched in 2015.

Beyond the three new offerings set to roll out in 2017, Noricks plans to mindfully explore further growth including enhanced networking opportunities, professional development and regional activations.
