University Dental Study Club of Houston developed with goal of elevating patient care.

Online PR News – 22-November-2010 – – Houston, TX - Dr. David K. Dennison, a Houston periodontist and implant specialist, is pleased to announce the formation of a local group geared to dental professionals that are committed to offering a premier level of comprehensive dental care. The University Dental Study Club of Houston, as the club is named, is a branch of the Seattle Study Club, an organization that represents the pinnacle of excellence when it comes to continuing dental education.

The University Dental Study Club of Houston is comprised of general dentists and other dental specialists, such as prosthodontists and oral surgeons in Houston and its surrounding areas. The group was developed after the concept first initiated by the Seattle Study Club and is affiliated with the group. These clubs, both in Washington and now in Houston, as well as in other locations, are comprised of dentists and practitioners from various dental specialties who collaborate on a continual basis, sharing their knowledge and experience to develop treatment plans that most effectively and efficiently resolve dental issues, diseases and aesthetics. This ongoing collaboration process enables these elite practitioners to provide superior dental care.

“I am very excited to have this local group of professionals who can interact with one another to share their thought processes and approaches in the development of plans for the treatment of complex cases,” says Dr. Dennsion of the University Dental Study Club of Houston. “Some of the most rewarding educational experiences that I have had were at multi-disciplinary seminar programs at the dental school. Through the study club, I wanted to create an atmosphere that fosters cooperation and learning in a non-threatening environment. The ultimate goal is to provide an innovative venue for continued learning that will enhance the excellent care that we currently provide for our patients.”

There are only a select group of dentists who choose to pursue their dental education beyond formal university training. Those who choose to do so with a group like the University Dental Study Club of Houston or one of the Seattle Study Clubs share a great deal in common. Most notably, they are devoted to providing the highest standard of care to the members of their community. With a focus on comprehensive care and team treatment planning, dentists and dental specialists alike are raising the bar when it comes to diagnosing and treating their patients.
