A brand new working partnership is recently formed between Armonk's renown Mariani Gardens and the high-end, Redding, CT based Architexture Studios.

After completing a faux finish seasonal wall vignette and display wall for the upscale home and garden depot, Redding-based Architexture Studios was invited by Mariani to be their exclusive in-house decorative painters for their residential clientele.
“This puts us in front of the right audience for our work and backs us up with a very reputable company,” says Julie, who works alongside her husband out of their Redding studio.
Both Julie and Starr Hardridge are highly accomplished high-end decorative artisans and artists. Trained in France and Italy under the tutelage of some of the finest artisan-instructors in the industry, they specialize in custom architectural finishes whether murals, trompe l'oeil, creating marble and faux bois or fine art pieces. Their stunning artistic finishes grace residential and commercial interiors across the country. In May 2010 Architexture Studios was nominated as one of the top 10 decorative studios in the Northeast and one of the top four in Connecticut.

Architexture Studios’ plaster wall project boasts a “primitive meets modern’ theme and took five days to complete. Combined with the three paintings on display by Starr entitled respectively; ‘American Family Ledger,’ ‘Nature’s Temptations’ and ‘Turquoise Buffalo’ the work showcases Julie and Starr’s expertise in fine art, decorative finishes, faux finishes and Italian plasters.
“It all started when the owner of Mariani Gardens saw one of my husband’s painting hanging at a Ridgefield business,” explains Julie. “He saw it and immediately wanted to get involved with us.”
