Candace earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating top of her class and magna cum laude, while working full time as a state bar certified criminal defense paralegal for attorney Jeffrey M. Cutler. While in law school, she also interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, gaining valuable knowledge and experience about federal prosecution and sentencing. Candace worked alongside Attorney Cutler for more than 13 years, balancing work and school while providing exemplary service to the firm’s clients.

She practices primarily in Wake County and its neighboring jurisdictions. Candace handles a wide variety of case types, including but not limited to: traffic violations, driving while impaired, underage drinking tickets, open container violations, domestic violence, assault, battery, drug offenses, and probation violations.
