Online PR News – 17-November-2010 – – Copper artist, Elizabeth Emison is offering custom copper sculptures just in time for the holiday season. These copper art pieces serve as beautiful accessories in any home and can also be given as unique gifts. Interested individuals can contact Emison to commission a custom copper art sculpture.
Elizabeth Emison is originally known for creating copper shoes and, more recently, copper bras. After a near death experience, Emison enrolled in an art class and discovered copper. She has since been creating beautiful art sculptures that have become quite popular, especially in local art galleries.
“Copper is very malleable. It’s kind of like paper—you can create just about anything,” says Elizabeth Emison.
Because it is so easy to work with, Emison can create just about any copper art sculpture when commissioned. All she needs is a picture or a good description. She will put her artistic talent to work and create a one of a kind, contemporary sculpture. It’s something she greatly enjoys, and knowing that others appreciate her work is a prime motivator for Emison.
The public has the opportunity to view copper art in person. Emison’s copper shoes will be displayed at the 2010 Bainbridge Island Winter Studio Tour in Bainbridge Island, Washington, December 3-5. The tour will showcase just a sampling of what she can create. Sixty-plus artists have been hand selected by a steering committee to showcase their pieces, making it one of the area’s most prestigious art shows.
“It’s an honor to show the public what I can create with copper,” continues Emison. “I hope to help bring joy to others as they receive their one of a kind copper art gift this holiday season.”
Emison can be commissioned to create any type of sculpture, including the copper shoes, copper bras, menorahs, angels, Christmas trees, and much more. To learn more about commissioned copper art, please visit eemisonmetalworks.com.
