Sociopreneurship India 2010, flagship event of in association with CNBC TV18 Young Turks and Madura Micro Finance is all set to showcase the high potential social entrepreneurs from all across India on November 23rd in Bangalore.

Online PR News – 18-November-2010 – – Sociopreneurship India 2010 promises to bring together social/green entrepreneurs, social investors and media on one platform.
The intent of the event is to build a benchmark property for social entrepreneurs in particular - for profit startups who are in the social /green space and give them a centrestage to tell their story.

While there is much buzz on technology startups, there is still a gaping need in India to showcase social startups. Sociopreneurship India 2010 will address this need and select startups who are leveraging technology, social innovations, green tech to create high level of social impact will present their innovations to an audience comprising of investors,industry experts, entrepreneurs and media.The presenting entrepreneurs have been selected from an entries and nominations of over 220 entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs were shortlisted on the basis of the level of social impact, innovation, technology differentiation and scalability of their enterprise.

The one day event will comprise of two topical panel discussions and showcase by the shortlisted entrepreneurs.

Sociopreneurship India 2010 is supported by Madura MicroFinance.
