SBD Directory Software 5.0 Released

After almost a year of development, fine-tuning and beta testing the newest and best version of SBD Directory Software has today been released. Version 5 introduces an enormous amount of features - many of which are unique to SBD.

Online PR News – 16-November-2010 – – Today marks the release of SBD 5.0 - which has been in development since February this year. This version introduces a huge number of features, and is our biggest update since the scripts initial release over five years ago.

Users of the SBD script on older versions can upgrade using a plugin tool introduced and available free of charge with a copy of version 5. Customers who have previously purchased SBD version 4 can get 5.0 free of charge, users of the free version can choose to upgrade for a one-time fee of $20.00.

Some of the headline features include a Web 2.0 submission queue, allowing you to review, accept, delete, edit or ban up to one-hundred listings without reloading or refreshing the page. Custom fields have been introduced, with the ability to handle and assign any type of content to these fields - for example RSS feeds, Deep Links, Twitter feeds, and images. SBD 5.0 now has the ability to install Templates & Plugins - more of which will be available over the coming weeks. The listing Risk Assessment feature introduced in 4.0 has been developed further - allowing you to add custom filters to better filter spam and bad listings.
