Landmass Goods has launched a kickstarter for an upgraded scratch off world map meant to encourage americans to travel.
Online PR News – 21-October-2016 – San Francisco, CA – Landmass Goods has launched a kickstarter for an upgraded scratch off world map - The Travel Tracker Map Platinum. The map is meant to encourage Americans to travel and builds on the success of their best selling original map. It has a top foil area, like a scratch ticket, with vibrant colors underneath letting you scratch off where you've traveled.
While the Kickstarter goal is to raise funds for the project, Landmass' intended goal is to get a community of people behind its products and mission. Forty-eight percent of Americans don't have passports and they aim to encourage Americans to travel abroad and and be more aware of the global community.
The Kickstarter video was shot on a trip abroad to Barcelona, Spain with a German director and Spanish and Dutch actresses, exemplifying the immersive, collaborative and global experiences the company wants to incite in others as they get to know new people from other countries and cultures.
Backers of the kickstarter will be the first to receive their maps before it is launched to the general public.
