Online PR News – 14-October-2016 – Atlanta, Georgia – Ayala Productions and Southwood Pictures film "…if I should die before I wake" continues to generate quite the buzz at some of the most prestigious national and international film festivals. Thus far in 2016 the film has been honored by the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, Creation International Film Festival, IndieFest Film Awards, Filmmakers Global, Accolade Global Competition, Big Pride Los Angeles Film Festival, and the ITSLA Film Fest.

Eric Ayala (Ayala Productions) and Windy Fleetwood (Southwood Pictures) are elated to see the movie’s success before its released in.2017.

Adapted from his 2006 novel by the same name, Ayala directed, wrote and produced the film.

African American filmmaker, Windy Fleetwood, has partnered as Executive Producer/ Producer on the award winning feature film, "…if I should die before I wake". Windy stated, "I read Eric's script. It was an incredible story about the mental struggles of an African American man who lived with secrets and the fear of losing his family and the trust of his community. Questioning who he is, living a lie, and the pain of hurting the people he loved and losing his freedom".
