Kings View Capital Advisors to hold Asian Investment Forum

Kings View Capital Advisors will host its Asian Investment Forum at its Hong Kong headquarters on Thursday 27th October 2016.

Online PR News – 30-September-2016 – HONG KONG – Kings View Capital Advisors’ forum will be focussing on current affairs on Asian stock markets. The forum, which aims to promote constructive dialogue between international investors each year, will attract over one hundred global investors.

Kings View Capital Advisors’ Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Inaya Yasokuni commented on the upcoming forum saying “Numerous topics will be discussed at length while also having a question and answer during the event’s opening session. The event will also feature a number international investor guests who will address key topics in the region.”

"The country choice for investments is a big component in the attribution of returns. With political issues in Malaysia currently, there is cause for little concern, however, oil is still a major player. The current Indonesian haze crisis, though not as severe as last year, will mean a lot more palm oil opportunities. Things are looking bright”, added Ms. Yasokuni, Chief Financial Officer for Kings View Capital Advisors”.

Kings View Capital Advisors was established in Hong Kong in 1997. Andrew Sun and Norman Lambert, two former chief trading partners at Solomon Brothers saw the need for a more flexible business model lacking the institutional flaws that led that business, like so many of its contemporaries to suffer fatal exposure during the market upheavals almost a decade later.

Having previously been impressed with the work of a young analyst named Justin Li they took the highly unusual step of making him a full partner at the formation of the company. This was a master stroke, with Justin Li being instrumental in the development of the algorithms that have given Kings View Capital Advisors the edge over its competition, while the decades of trading experience of the ‘Old Masters’ as Sun & Lambert are affectionately known, has safeguarded the company’s growth year on year.

As we added more partners to the firm and acquired several other firms, the company underwent a re-branding exercise in 2007, in the process changing its name from Sun, Lambert & Partners of Hong Kong to Kings View Capital Advisors to reflect our office location at that time on Kings Road in Hong Kong.

Once it became clear the retail division was operational and the demand was there, the decision was taken to undertake an aggressive expansion programme. Regional offices were opened in Shanghai (2010), Tokyo (2011) and Taipei (2014), absorbing local firms with an established footprint and retaining key staff.

Kings View Capital Advisors provide the same high standard of service with access to the same products and vehicles whether working on behalf of a private investor or its largest institutional clients.
