Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust, Bangalore proudly announces that Shri S M Krishna, a former Chief Minister of Karnataka and External Affairs Minister, Govt. of India, would be inaugurating the Durga Puja Bangalore 2016, on 7th October. It's a matter of great pride and elation that Shri Krishna has gracefully consented to be a part of the celebration which has transcended the boundaries of provincialism, ethnicity and languages. Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust is delighted that its reputation would surely befit the stature of its chief guest, Shri Krishna, who has served Karnataka and India in various roles for the past five decades. Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust is a non-profit organization in Bangalore, founded in 2003. The organization is involved in organizing socio-cultural events in Bangalore, the highlight being the grand Durga Puja. Sarathi encourages people from all communities to participate in its cultural fiesta, branded as Sammad, an Indian cultural extravaganza, which was inaugurated by the likes of Justice Santhosh Hegde, Captain Gopinath and Ashok Soota over the years.
