Reckitt Benckiser’s poweRBrands™ Facebook game wins major award

Reckitt Benckiser, the leading global household, health and personal care company, wins Best Graduate Recruitment Marketing Campaign prize at National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2010

Online PR News – 26-October-2010 – – poweRBrands™, the innovative Facebook business game launched by Reckitt Benckiser in July this year has just won its first major award.
At this year’s prestigious National Graduate Recruitment Awards, held in London on Friday, October 22, poweRBrands™ won Best Graduate Recruitment Marketing Campaign.

Commenting on the win, Claudia Bach, Corporate Brand Marketing and PR Manager, said: “We are very proud to have won this award. Judges commented that the RB poweRBrands™ submission demonstrated in innovative campaign with great visual impact, and had shown evidence of the way in which the game had grabbed the attention of its target audience.
The poweRBrands™ supporting online advertising focused on LinkedIn, Google search and Facebook reaching 56% of the target universe.
Within the first month of going live, the game had already reached 92,000 monthly active users, and over 6,000 fans. Monthly visits reached more than 110,000*. Player demographics show a tight fit with the key RB target groups.
