'The Irish Legal 100' recognizes top lawyers from around the country who share a passion for the law and pride in their heritage.
Online PR News – 21-October-2010 – – SAN JOSE, CA – Attorneys Timothy McMahon and Robert Allard, of the personal injury law firm Corsiglia McMahon & Allard, have been named to the “The Irish Legal 100,” a list of the top Irish-American lawyers for 2010, published jointly by The Irish Voice and Irish America magazine.
McMahon and Allard join past honorees such as Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and Chief Justice John Roberts on the list that was first created in 2008 in an effort to foster closer ties between Irish American attorneys in the United States and their heritage, and touts the top legal minds of Irish descent in the country. McMahon and Allard’s dual nomination as members of the same firm in the same year speaks volumes for the firm’s reputation in the United States.
McMahon attended an invitation-only awards ceremony and reception in Washington D.C. at the home of Michael Collins, Irish Ambassador to the U.S., on October 14th.
McMahon and Allard were named for their unparalleled reputation as trial attorneys in California. McMahon’s grandparents are from County Clare which is the center for the McMahon clan in all of Ireland. McMahon’s grandparents, both born in Ireland, immigrated through Ellis Island in early 1900’s. Allard’s Irish roots are traced through Cork.
The “Irish Legal 100” has been published as a special supplement in the October issue of Irish America Magazine.
