Major feature upgrades to FabTrol Systems’ steel fabrication management software to be demonstrated at Booth 3969
Online PR News – 21-October-2010 – – FabTrol Systems joins over 1,000 steel fabrication supply chain companies at FABTECH 2010, North America’s largest metal forming, fabrication, finishing and welding event. This year’s annual event, with an anticipated 22,000 attendees, is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center, November 2-4 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Steel fabricators and detailers are invited to stop by Booth 3969 to learn about how FabTrol Systems’ award-winning steel fabrication management software, FabTrol MRP, can help fabricators gain a competitive advantage by ensuring successful project completion on schedule and within budget. FabTrol Systems’ trainer and account manager, Randy Bolt, will be on hand to provide hands-on software demonstrations and answer questions.
Fabricators already familiar with FabTrol MRP’s fully integrated material management, drawing management, production control and shipping modules can see new features firsthand that have been introduced over the last year, including:
-Roundtrip integration with shaped plate nesting software, including full integration with existing FabTrol MRP purchasing and stock systems to provide plate availability information by nesting solution as well as material traceability from receiving through to shipping documents.
- Automated Data Capture (ADC) for stock receiving, including full integration with FabTrol MRP’s purchasing and stock systems and nesting engines. The addition, building on FabTrol MRP’s existing ADC for production progress tracking and shipping, ensures real-time material availability information throughout the system.
- Model-based estimating features that build on FabTrol MRP’s already highly-automated estimating capability, including automated labor synchronization tools that take advantage of existing bill of material and/or labor information available in a model to automatically add labor and handling time during the import.
Steel fabricators who currently use FabTrol MRP will appreciate the time savings and increased accuracy provided by this additional integration with supply chain vendors, as well as system-wide automated data capture capabilities. Fabricators unfamiliar with the benefits of FabTrol MRP’s integrated fabrication management software can learn about the software and discuss their needs with a veteran FabTrol Systems’ representative.
