Online PR News – 25-September-2009 – – Stockholm, Sweden, September 24, 2009 — Lajven’s “Stuck With My Destiny” three-song EP features earnest, melodic songs based on singer/songwriter Robin Livehed’s life experiences. Lajven’s songs could be described as sweet and sincere acoustic Pop ballads. “I can only write what comes from my heart,” Livehed said.
Originally engaged in Punk music during his younger years, Robin decided that he wanted to take his musical compositions in a vastly different direction. Forgoing the heavier sounds for something more personal, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden. He later put the finishing touches on songs for the first Lajven EP: “What We Had, We’re Clouds”, and title track “Stuck With My Destiny”.
The EP was recorded in Lund, Sweden, in a studio owned by Swedish record label Bad Taste Records. Robin worked with producer Andreas Söderlund, whose sound and style he has admired. Upon releasing the Lajven EP on Myspace Music on March 13, 2009, Robin has received great feedback from fans and friends on his web page. “I've worked a lot with it (his songs), so I'm glad that so many people like it. I hope some of them understand it, too,” Robin said.
Robin Livehed focuses intently on imparting his heart and essence into his music. It’s critical to Robin that his music project “Lajven” is something that listeners relate to, and recognize themselves in his songs and lyrics. “I hope people can recognize themselves in my music,” explains Robin. “It's the old Pop songs that saved me when I felt down. I don't want my songs to affect scores of people in a minor way — I’d rather that the music really touch a small group of people very deeply and have it mean something personal.”
The new EP was released under the Lajven moniker! The songs are now available on iTunes, Amazon, and additional music download sites. Robin said, “Nothing is holding me back right now. I would love to do anything that continues to drive my music career forward.” Visit “Lajven online at http://www.lajven.com
