Simcoach Games and the Master Builders’ Association team up to talk about video games in DC

Simcoach Games and MBA team up once again to show off Harness Hero at the Association of General Contractors annual Health & Safety Conference in Washington DC.

Online PR News – 29-July-2016 – Pittsburgh, PA – Simcoach Games is a leader in developing gamified learning and continues to innovate and engage thousands of people through their games across the nation. With the help of one of their partners, the Master Builders’ Association (MBA), Simcoach Games was able to develop Harness Hero, a game that teaches players the importance of fall protection in the construction industry. Simcoach Games CEO, Jessica Trybus, and MBA Director of Safety, Bob McCall will be attending the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America’s Safety & Health Conference to talk about the success of this game and highlight opportunities where video games can be used to more effectively educate the workforce as it pertains to workplace safety.

“Games are great facilitators of conversation around safety - in the workplace and at home” Trybus said in preparation for her presentation; “we can show clear consequences of choices players make. In Harness Hero if you make the right choices, you're safe, if you don't, well, you can see the bad consequences for your character in the game.”
