Outback in the Ozarks, known for their overnight 200-Mile team relay, announces Out and Back Challenge, a new race in 2016.
Online PR News – 24-July-2016 – Springdale, AR – Outback in the Ozarks, known for their overnight 200-Mile team relay, announces Out and Back Challenge, a new race in 2016. “The Out and Back Challenge is designed for runners who still want an adventure without running through the night,” said Kimberlee Guin, race director, Outback in the Ozarks. The Out and Back Challenge is one of four Outback in the Ozarks race options. The other three are 55-Miles, Scenic 70 and 200-Miles. All four races will be held October 21-22, 2016 in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas.
While the 200-Mile race is a nonstop overnight run, the Out and Back Challenge allows runners to spend the night in the comfort of a nearby hotel or a beautiful state park campsite or cabin. On day one, participants in the Out and Back challenge will run the Scenic 70. On day two, participants will run 55-Miles. Out and Back teams consist of four to six runners. Based on a 6-person team, each runner will run four legs. “Out and Back participants will actually run more than 200-milers, but will have a longer recover period and a good night’s rest,” said Guin.
