The Company is pleased to welcome two new professional team players: Carla Guardia Malaga will be responsible for business development in Latin America, and Kais Ben Amor will take care of business development in French-speaking countries of North and West Africa. Both Carla and Kais have got proven track records with 15+ years of experience in the industry.

“The key driver behind X INFOTECH’s continuous expansion is the growing demand for electronic ID document projects in Africa and Latin America. These markets are emerging amazingly fast," said Sergey Yeliseyev, Business Development Director of X INFOTECH, Government eID projects. rn"We’ve already got strong regional support in Nairobi, Kenya, and now we warmly welcome the new professionals on board, with intentions to find recognition on the new territories and show excellent global performance as a team.”

The shipments of electronic ID documents in the Middle East and Africa are expected to reach 53.5 million copies by 2020 (IHS Digital Security Intelligence Service, 2015). Yet more, 200+ million Latin Americans still do not have biometric passports, while visa-free travel within the Schengen area encourages governments to ensure secure social environment and safe travel to its citizens (World Bank, 2015).

“Digital payment instruments such as smart cards and mobile phone, play a significant role in the economic development of many countries, help making economies to become more transparent by removing corruption and reducing grey areas, therefore, we see that more and more governments think how to partner with banks for increased financial inclusion of the people on national level. We see an increasing interest from both banks and governments to incorporate payment and social programs, using the latest technologies, including contactless - opting for efficiency, convenience and usability,” stated Vadim Teresko, Business Development Director of X INFOTECH, Banking & Mobile. “So, we are definitely looking forward to new business opportunities in Africa and Latin America.”
