This scholarship goes to one student in Alaska who demonstrates a strong passion for service and learning and who is enrolled in high school or higher education.

Today, Joseph Paskvan and Kenneth Ringstad are excited to announce the annual winner of the Paskvan & Ringstad, P.C. Proud Alaskan Scholarship: Maggie Grahm!

“This scholarship is such a blessing to me. I had a pretty tough last semester with some health issues and keeping up with school because of that, but am sticking to it and am going to be at KPC in Homer to recoup and the scholarship relieves so much pressure financially for me!”

Maggie’s passion for serving her community was immediately apparent in her video. It captured Maggie’s enthusiasm for service in a creative, thoughtful manner.

“I can't properly express how thankful I am! It boosted my confidence in being able to return to school strong and to remain dedicated. I am pursuing a nursing degree and am very excited to be able to start giving back to communities as a nurse soon. Thank you again for selecting me for this scholarship- it means so much to me.”

The attorneys at Paskvan & Ringstad, P.C. wish Maggie the best as she continues to pursue her goals at the Kenai Peninsula College in Homer.
