Matthew David Parker launches salsa dancing studio in Lafayette, Louisiana
Online PR News – 21-July-2016 – Lafayette, LA, USA – Matthew David Parker is proud to be launching the first salsa dancing studio in Lafayette. Lafayette Salsa Dance Studio is a state-of-the-art studio that can accommodate several dance classes at one time.
Lafayette Salsa Dance Studio is a 2,500 square feet studio with two separate rooms that can accommodate up to thirty students at any time. The floor is made of wood and perfect for salsa dancing.
The studio will be offering daily classes, seven days a week, to adults and children alike. The classes start at 4pm on the weekdays and at 11am on weekends. The schedule will change monthly and will always be posted on the studio’s website.
The classes will be offered for all of the different levels of students. Most classes will focus on beginner dancers, but the studio will also offer intermediate and advanced level classes. Children will have the option of beginner and intermediate classes. Adults will be offered all three levels.
Another added benefit of the studio is that you can take classes as a couple or as a single student. Both couples and singles will be taking classes together but no one will ever be left without a partner. If needed, Matthew David Parker’s staff jumps in to pair with the singles.
Matthew David Parker received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Louisiana State University in 2009, and went on to found his own studio a year later, in 2010. He considered opening a studio in other cities such as Los Angeles, Tampa, Atlanta and Charleston, but his Louisiana roots spoke louder and he decided to stay in the state.
“All my life I dreamed of owing my own salsa dancing studio and now it’s become a reality,” explains Matthew David Parker, the founder and owner of Lafayette Salsa Dance Studio. “Even better is the fact that I can do it in my hometown of Lafayette, a place that has not had a salsa studio yet. It’s truly a dream come true.”
