ICFAI Business School (IBS) is once again in the limelight winning a top award in the prestigious EFMD Case Writing Awards 2015, which were awarded recently.
Online PR News – 21-June-2016 – Hyderabad, Telengana, 19th June, 2016 – The case study "JBS S.A.: A Latin American Success Story" written by Syeda Maseeha Qumer and Debapratim Purkayastha was the Winner of the EFMD Award in the ‘Latin American Business Cases' category.
About the case: The case tracks the growth of São Paulo-based JBS S.A. from a small butcher shop in Brazil to a global leader in animal protein processing. It highlights the competitive advantages developed by JBS in the animal protein industry that placed it ahead of its competitors, and also looks at the challenges faced by the company in 2015. The winners in the other categories include cases from institutions like IMD (Switzerland), Imperial College London (UK), INSEAD (Paris), Kellogg School of Management (US), Richard Ivey Business School (Canada), Singapore Management University, ISB, etc.
