Xperii wins national RECESS Pitch Competition at LA event, taking home first place out of over 500 pitches submitted by startups.
Online PR News – 15-June-2016 – BOSTON, MA – Last week the national finals of the RECESS competition were held in LA. Traveling to the land of sunshine and palm trees, 10 teams were flown courtesy of Southwest Airlines from across the nation to compete for the accolade of ‘National Winner’.
Whittled down from over 500 applicant pitches from budding startups, to regional winners, to the top 3 RECESS teams selected to compete for first place, this year’s competition wasn’t only a chance to compete—it was a chance to learn as well from industry leaders and executives from companies like Southwest Airlines, Uber, and Amazon Web Services.
Between filming sessions, to learning about the other remarkable ventures in the competition, to ultimately going on to claim overall First Place in a competition that began with hundreds of pitches, it was a rewarding and memorable experience for the Xperii team.
