Ecommerce company Mashu Designs sells hipster totes and tees with Zionist designs.
Tel Aviv, Israel, June 13, 2016 – New startup Mashu Designs announced today that it is raising funds via Kickstarter to grow their product line. The company set out to raise $7,000 on Kickstarter to buy inventory and reduce production costs so they can expand their product line and change the way young Israel supporters show their pride.
Their goal is to make it easier – and cooler – for people who love Israel to show their support.
“We saw there wasn’t a great way for people who love the country to show it off,” co-founder Ido Amran explains. “The only options were outdated shirts and designs that a lot of young people wouldn’t love to be seen in public wearing, so we set out to to change that.”
Their long-term goal is to create dedicated designs with proceeds from each sale going to specific causes, such as making Tel Aviv a greener city, helping underprivileged Israelis get better education, and funding young artists.
Mashu Designs was established in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2016 and is owned by Ido Amran and Aimee Millwood. Their current product line includes designs from Alix Marson, Alexia Aflalo, and Aviv Itskovich. Their Kickstarter video was produced by Marc Kornblatt.
