Fremont, CA: NetZealous, a leading provider of regulatory compliance trainings for a wide range of regulated industries, will organize a two-day seminar

Online PR News – 20-May-2016 – CA – Fremont, CA: NetZealous, a leading provider of regulatory compliance trainings for a wide range of regulated industries, will organize a two-day seminar on June 2 and 3, 2016 in San Francisco through one of its prominent brands, TrainHR. Susan Fahey Desmond, a law practitioner, will be the Director of this seminar, whose topic was “Conducting Internal Investigations”.
Employees have a right to approach external agencies such as the EEOC, the NLRB, Wage and Hour, private attorneys and juries against their employer, when they feel that their legitimate complaints are not being heard by the latter.
When an employee takes this step, it causes considerable embarrassment, and sometimes, loss of reputation, to the employer. An important defense against the employee dragging the employer to court is for HR to be completely equipped with the process of carrying out a legally tenable and fair investigation of the employee’s complaints. A shoddily carried out investigation is the root to such action from the employee, preventing which largely lies in HR’s hands.
More details about the seminar can be had from https://www.trainhr.com/control/hr-seminar/~product_id=100087SEMINAR?conducting-internal-investigations-SFO
This seminar is being organized with the purpose of giving participating companies’ HR professionals a thorough understanding of this issue, starting with how to classify a complaint by the employee as a legitimate one. The core matter of employee internal investigation –the ability to distinguish laws that empower it to conduct investigations against some kinds of complaints, and not others –will be discussed at this seminar. This knowledge is critical for preventing an employee from initiating legal proceedings against the employer.
In the course of imparting this aspect, the Director, Susan Fahey Desmond, will impart to participants the important learning of how to handle internal complaints by employees. The right way of handling these complaints can decide whether the organization is going to hear their legitimate complaints, or will give them the opportunity to get the same done by external sources. The employer will have a strong case if the organization’s HR follows the right procedures. The perception by the agencies of the employer having taken proper and timely steps to redress the employee’s legitimate complaint insulates the organization against unfavorable decisions.
