"We wanted our brand to communicate who we are and what we stand for, not only with our current clients but for those who donâ€™t yet know us. The rebranding effort included the creation of a new company logo which is now just â€˜Bayleyâ€™, an updated tagline, website, stationery package, color palette, collateral, signage and all marketing tactics, including traditional and digital communication methods."
The new motto, "Quality People. Quality Buildings." reflects Bayleyâ€™s differentiating strengths in the market-providing highly respected craftsmanship and tremendously talented people. Based on feedback from hundreds of surveys and interviews with clients, staff members and vendors, these positive attributes were the most common denominators, along with Bayleyâ€™s excellent reputation for quality.
Creative agency Jovenville, LLC (Newport Beach, CA) assisted Bayley in the rebranding process and was responsible for the discovery, design and development of the companyâ€™s new logo, website and overall marketing image. Bayley wanted to keep its "plumb bob" symbol to recognize the past, but modernized the design to be more precise and legible. The introduction of a new color was used to embrace and move positively forward with the future. The agency conducted an audit of the companyâ€™s existing brand and marketing efforts, and conducted a thorough process of surveys and live interviews with customers, employees and vendors.
Bayley is particularly proud of the 2016 branding refresh, which demonstrates its unique value proposition while not losing sight of the companyâ€™s heritage and pride in its talented staff and family-oriented culture.
