05/02/2016

Opening Time Changes to 9 a.m., Saturday May 7th while Break Fast & Launch Culinary Business Accelerator Joins Market

Online PR News – 02-May-2016 – San Antonio, TX – Beginning Saturday, May 7, The Trinity Market will open earlier on Saturday mornings – 9 a.m. -- to provide breakfast to market patrons. In addition, the new hours of operation – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – will celebrate a new strategic partnership between the Trinity Market and Break Fast & Launch, the nation’s first culinary business accelerator located in San Antonio. The event aims to showcase young, entrepreneurial companies that need a hand up (not a hand out) in getting their business off the ground and into markets.

The Trinity Market rolls into its 7th week of operations, providing the community with a new farmers market all about fresh-locally sourced products, food sustainability education, healthy lifestyle activities and entrepreneur empowerment. Due to The Trinity Market’s partnership with Break Fast & Launch, entrepreneurial vendors are successfully lunching their sustainable food concepts after hands-on mentoring, training and experiential learning.

Envisioned as a community gathering space, The Trinity Market begins at 9am and ends at 1pm giving students and families an exciting place to do their weekly grocery shopping and enjoy their Saturday morning on the welcoming college campus. The Market is easily accessible on Trinity’s campus adjacent to Hildebrand Avenue and behind Coates Library. Follow the signs!

The following Break Fast & Launch vendors will be selling products and simultaneously providing educational demonstrations lasting approximately 12-minutes each:
• Deep River Specialty Foods
• Le Sucre Catering
• Revolucion Juice + Coffee
• Cocina Heritage
• Texas Black Gold Garlic
• Made’s Food Co.
• Wabi Sabi
• Bombay Salsa Co.

True Wellness, a local non-profit, will be new to the Market offering healthy cooking demonstrations.

“I highly encourage everyone to attend The Trinity Market any Saturday, and to support the local vendors that are growing their startups. The mission of this market and the mission of Break Fast & Launch align perfectly to provide early stage culinary companies an opportunity to learn and grow their businesses with support to succeed. The key advantage in participating in this market is the intentional focus on education both for the customer and participating businesses like the Break Fast & Launch companies. Together Break Fast & Launch and The Trinity Market are facilitating growth of our local small business community”, says Director of Break Fast and Launch, Ryan Salts.
