KL Communications, Con Ed Community Selected as Finalist for Innovation Award at CS Week

KL Communications, Con Edison Co-Creation Community Selected as Finalist for the Expanding Excellence Award for Innovation in Customer Service at CS Week.

Online PR News – 27-April-2016 – Red Bank, NJ – KL Communications is proud to announce that its Customer Advisory Co-Creation Community, developed with client partners at Con Edison, is a Finalist for the Expanding Excellence Award for Innovation in Customer Service at this year’s CS Week Conference 40 (http://www.csweek.org/web/Conference/Default.aspx).

Con Edison established the Customer Advisory Co-Creation Community in January of 2015, as the company recognized a strong need to connect with their employees as well as their customers.

“Due to rising customer expectations in the utilities industry, Con Ed needed an innovative tool that would provide the ability to tap into customer feedback on an on-going basis,” said Kristen Murphy, Senior Planning Analyst at Con Edison. “We truly embraced innovation in the Customer Advisory Co-Creation Community with the inaugural CrowdWeaving™ Challenge, which challenged customers to design the ideal Energy Efficiency program.”

Since launching the community, there have been more than 50 research initiatives that have helped Con Edison improve service and communication to their customers.

Con Edison will be recognized as a finalist on Wednesday during the conference’s General Session. Earlier in the day, Kristen and Allyssa Gresser, Executive VP of Client Relations at KL Communications, spoke together in a presentation entitled “New Voice of Customer Tool Propels Customer–Driven Actions.”
