Employees of Seagate participated in a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme recently at the SOS Childrenâ€™s Villages of India in Pune.
Online PR News – 27-April-2016 – Pune – The SOS Childrenâ€™s Villages of India received a donation of Rs.9,95,000 from Seagate, the global leader in data storage solutions, under its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
At the Pune event, employees of Seagate spent a fun-filled day at the Village, conducting Science experiments with the SOS children. The activities were designed to inform and engage the children and were geared towards enhancing their knowledge of scientific concepts and applications.

About SOS Childrenâ€™s Village, Pune
Established in 1989, there are 16 loving family homes for 267 children in the Village. It provides a serene, caring and positive environment that helps build a solid emotional foundation for children growing up in the Village. It also has youth houses for boys and there are 84 boys in these youth houses. As on today, 123 youngsters have moved out of our Village and got settled. SOS Pune is also strengthening 269 BPL families and reaching out directly or indirectly to over 515 children in 6 localities of Pune.
