HealthyWorld, India's largest online health foods brand, ships its 100,000th unit.

On its mission to spread awareness about preventive health care, Mumbai & Pune - based HealthyWorld (HW Wellness Solutions Pvt Ltd) shipped its 100,000th unit.

It drives focus by curating nutritious food brands and educates customers to consume nutrients by providing natural supplements without altering their existing dietary habits.

Previously in Jan 2015, HealthyWorld had raised an Angel Investment of $150K from a group of investors. Recently they raised $ 65,000 as part of its interim financing round, from existing and new investors.

"We had committed a milestone topline to our investors when we raised our angel round. However, we exceeded that and are ahead of our milestones. In fact, we are on our way to reaching a topline of 1Cr net sales in the next 3 months. To support this topline, since we are in the products business, we need a stronger working capital, without compromising on our marketing efforts which is why we raised a bridge round,” said Puru Gupta, co-founder, HealthyWorld.

"There is still a huge opportunity to build a private brand nationally. With the right mix of distribution and marketing, I think we are moving in the right direction and our scalability validates that our plan is on track." Puru added.

Healthy World on their website, currently sells more than 3,000 health and wellness food products along with their private label True Elements, a nine-month-old indigenous functional foods brand, curated from formulations across India.

HealthyWorld is also moving towards backward integration along with building more sales channels. Integrating with farmers, associations & NGOs and building an Indian brand where health and agriculture is one of the key focus areas.

True Elements, HealthyWorld's private label contains 45+ health products under its portfolio. These products are present not only on HealthyWorld but also on 20 other e-commerce giants like Amazon, Paytm, Flipkart to name a few.

“Currently, True Elements accounts for more than 60% of Healthy World's top line and is one of the fastest growing brands,” said Sreejith Moolayil, co-founder, HealthyWorld.

HealthyWorld is in talks with potential investors and VC Funds for raising series A funding of $3M.
