Hotels can sign up by creating a profile that includes available room types, current images, amenities, contact information, and taxes and fees. There is no monthly or annual fee to be listed on Agent20.com. Participating properties will be charged 10% of room revenue on all bookings they receive via the marketplace and will be invoiced seven days after the team’s departure.
When teams are ready to begin the process of securing rooms, the travel manager can log on to the website, create a new trip request, set the length of the marketplace, and then the offers will begin appearing. Once a marketplace is opened, hotels can begin submitting their offers which team travel managers will see in real time. Only the best three bids will be visible at once, and hotels can adjust their lowest available rates or provided perks to again show up as one of the three featured listings. The travel manager can choose to stop the activity at any time if he/she sees a deal that works with the location or their specific budget or wait until the marketplace closes to select a property.
