Large, Local Restaurant Group Partners with the Palmetto Heart Walk

Launches Promotion to Help Raise Funds for the American Heart Association

Online PR News – 21-April-2016 – Hilton Head Island/SC – Six restaurants and one bar, all a part of the Coastal Restaurants & Bars restaurant group on Hilton Head Island, have partnered with the American Heart Association and Hilton Head Regional Medical Center to help to raise funds around the annual Palmetto Heart Walk (taking place on Hilton Head Island on April 30th, 2016). The C.R.A.B. Group will feature heart healthy menu items in their restaurants from April 24 to May 7, 2016, and a portion of proceeds from these featured menu items will be donated to the American Heart Association.

The Boardroom, a bar in the Group’s portfolio, will also collect donations for hearts from patrons, and plans to hang purchased hearts around the bar in support of the two-week promotion. “The opportunity to help support our local community fight the number one cause of death and stroke in South Carolina is something our Group could not pass up. Our local community is very aware of the effects of heart disease, and we are happy to do what we can to support our local hospital and The Walk,” says Erin Reilley Booth. Erin is one of the managing partners of Reilley’s Grill & Bar located on Hilton Head Island, a restaurant which has been on the Island for over 34 years. “We would like to see a decline in heart disease across all ages of those effected, and this is a great, and healthy, way to show our support for both our local medical community and The American Heart Association,” says Lindsy Bentz, Marketing Director for the Group.

Features on the menus of the Group will vary by location. Some items will include: broiled seafood, delicious salads, steamed oysters, heart healthy sandwiches, grilled swordfish, avocado and fish tacos and even appetizers (at some locations). Featured menus will be available during lunch and dinner dining segments. The C.R.A.B. Group will also be walking as a team in the Palmetto Heart Walk on April 30th.
