Online PR News – 22-September-2009 – – Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Yes, it is MIICC Speed Networking time again. Our last speed networking event was very well attended and we hope to repeat that at our upcoming Speed Networking event on October 14th 2009.

Speed networking is networking on fast forward. It offers you the opportunity to meet everyone in the room for a brief 3-5 minutes. Speed networking has a lot of advantages. If you are shy and can’t seem to break up groups of chatty individuals or if you just cannot seem to reach everyone because you seem to always spend a lot of time talking to a select few, speed networking can help you.

Yes, speed networking has a lot of disadvantages too. During speed networking you may feel as if all you are doing is collecting business cards. And you may not get a chance to finish sharing your expertise with a really interested party.

But despair not. Speed networking is meant to put you in front of all the participants so that you can get a preliminary introduction and then continue networking with those individuals later on.

So, now that you know what it is and how it works, come on over on October 14th 2009 to meet and network with others at the fall Speed Networking event. You are sure to meet new people and get to know others better during this very interactive and fun networking session.

The speed networking event will be held from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, EST at the Dykema Gossett Law offices in Bloomfield Hills. The address is 39577 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI.
