Verve 2016, organized by JIMS, Rohini Sector-5 came to an end with the breathtaking performances of Raftaar, Jassi Gill and Babbal Rai
Online PR News – 14-March-2016 – Delhi – Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini sector-5 organized two days annual inter college cultural fest, ‘Verve 2016’. Rapper Raftaar, Jassi Gill and Babbal Rai’s live performances made the students tap on their toes. All the singers had an enchanting effect on the students. More than 5000 students participated from around 50 colleges of Delhi NCR. Event commenced at 11:00 am and forged ahead till 8:00 pm.
Chairman, JIMS, Manish Gupta congratulated all participants and said that the annual fest is a celebration of the dynamics of youth, which endeavors to create a platform to flaunt their potential talents. It brings together the creativity, intellect and wackiness of the youth. It not only bends youth in an entertaining mood but at the same time makes them think, create and innovate.
Director, JIMS, Dr. JK Goyal encouraged the students saying that it is more important to participate in such healthy platforms than to win.
Continuing its legacy from years, this time also the cultural fest, Verve was presented in a distinctly spectacular way. A vibrant mix of technical as well as cultural programmes like group dance, sur sangam, LAN gaming, solo dance, chill photography, fashion show took place. Numerous dance forms like salsa, jazz, hip hop were seen. Photography event had themes like wildlife and flowers while the fashion show had a glimpse of ethnic wear. Nukad Natak was a show stealer which was on reservation and Dowry system.
