Most senior position within the Taipei Mercantile Exchange (TPMEX.org) Governance Committees

Online PR News – 16-January-2016 – Taipei – TPMEX is pleased to announce that Professor Nan Cheng Fei has accepted the position of Chairman of the TPMEX Policy Committee. Professor Cheng Fei, who was involved in setting up TPMEX’s first indices, replaces David Kang who has chaired the Policy Committee. David will continue to advise TPMEX as a consultant.

Nan Cheng Fei is Emeritus Professor at Tokyo Business School, Fellow and Visiting Professor at Osaka Business School, and Chairman of the Strategy Council for the Pension Fund.

Members of the Policy Committee are market practitioners of the most senior level and are intended to represent all sectors of the global investment community. The Policy Committee advises TPMEX on the construction and maintenance of indices and on future market requirements. It oversees other TPMEX committees including those responsible for regional equities, nationality, country classification, sector classification and bond indices.
