Online PR News – 03-October-2010 – – Toronto, ON, October 3, 2010- On September 20th, 2010 Mortgage Alliance unveiled the largest advertising campaign in the company’s history, to educate Canadian home buyers and home owners about the advantages offered by Mortgage Alliance products, and the benefits of working with Ontario Mortgage Brokers, as well as those across the country. The expansive radio campaign will be heard in more than 60 radio stations nationwide and run through November.

More and more home buyers interested in making their home ownership goals a reality, and home owners thinking of turning their home’s equity into cash are turning to Canadian Mortgage Brokers for solutions and advice. In 2008, Mortgage Brokers helped nearly 1 out of 4 Canadian home owners with their purchase and home equity mortgage borrowing needs (23% according to Maritz Research), and last year Mortgage Alliance worked with more than 40,000 home owners across the country. There’s a reason for those statistics.

“It’s about saving time, hassle, and even money,” says Mortgage Agent Jan Henry with Mortgage Alliance in Ontario. “When a prospective mortgage borrower approaches a bank, they are offered a home loan solution that may suit the bank’s requirements, but that may not necessarily address the borrower’s needs.” Of course the borrower can research all the lenders themselves by going online or phoning every bank, comparing all the Ontario mortgage lenders they find, and completing applications with dozens of banks. But they still have to choose from a set of confusing options and they have lost valuable time in the process.

This is when a borrower may decide to call a Mortgage Broker, many of which allow borrowers to conveniently apply by phone or online through websites like HomeLoanGuide.ca. The aim of Mortgage Alliance’s fall radio campaign is to ensure that Canadian’s select a Mortgage Broker at this point, so consumer education is important. In addition to focusing on the general benefits of working with Mortgage Alliance, the radio spots will also feature products like the Right Mortgage(TM), which is unique to Mortgage Alliance.

Many consumers are not sure what a Mortgage Broker does, so the fall campaign will answer the question, “Why work with a Mortgage Broker?” “Ontario Mortgage Brokers are licensed and independent from the banks,” says Jan Henry. “They work for the borrower. Mortgage Alliance Mortgage Brokers have access to products and rates from all the top lenders. Their mission is to understand buyer needs, sort through hundreds of mortgage options and deliver the ideal home equity mortgage with the best terms and conditions available, great rates, and affordable payments. One application lets Mortgage Alliance do the mortgage shopping and negotiations.”
