West Angeles Church of God in Christ Continues to Gives Back with its 10th "Christmas at the Cathedral" Free Holiday Concert

Online PR News – 08-December-2015 – Los Angeles/California – West Angeles Church of God in Christ (West Angeles), one of the largest church memberships in the country, hosts its annual Christmas concert as a means to give back to the Los Angeles community. A Christmas at the Cathedral is a free annual event held at West Angeles’ newly constructed cathedral in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 7 p.m.

This is the 10th year anniversary for the event. West Angeles, under the leadership of Bishop Charles Blake, spares no expense in bringing the best gospel talent to the community. Past artists have included Grammy Awarding winners; Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin. Gladys Ross, COO of West Angeles says, “This event is for the entire community to enjoy. Many families can’t afford to attend concerts with top artists, so we want to give this gift to everyone. It’s a great way for family and friends to spend the day together - for free.”

This year’s guests include: chart-topping, Tasha Cobbs; Anthony Brown & Group Therapy and world-renowned, West Angeles Church of God in Christ Mass Choir. The evening of music and theatrical productions will be hosted by award-winning comedian, George Wallace. “West Angeles Church of God in Christ is committed in its efforts to bring the best available resources to our community in the form of housing, medical facilities, supermarket, banking and youth services. We also want to bring joy, laughter and peace to a community that is oftentimes struggling in so many ways,” said Bishop Blake.
